Installation went fine using the newest drivers, but when I try to connect, I get no dial tone, and the strange thing is, the dial up networking screen says "dialing", but naver gives me an error message, nor does it time out. I eventually have to hit cancel. The phone line is fine, and the same settings work with the internal Toshiba modem. Any ideas? Thanks! |

If the DAA is 'broke' - which is common after power surge/failure, and is more common with some newer modems that use solid-state vs. electro-mechanical off-hook control - the modem needs warranty repair or replacement.
