Carlos Manuel Tl Posts: 3 Argentina | Posted - 10/18/2000 11:18:18 PM My isp, the only in my town, has change your equipment to lucent k56flex but not v.90, and my modem is v1456vqe-x (askey corp and j.mark corp) with x2 tech, texas chipset under 3com license. Is there any way to maintain a decent connection (28.8 or 33.6). Disabling x2 o v.90?? Before always i connected at 33.6 |

Disabling both X2 and V.90 is certainly worth a try, but the modem is probably doing that automatically anyway during the handshake negotiation when you connect. If nothing else works, you may be faced with getting a different modem that matches the ISP. BobR |
