Mine's approx 4+ years old, yet the latest v.90 firmware patch on the 3com (australia) site works fine on my modem, I wonder if they can impliment v.92 on this modem, any word from anyone? |

Latest V.92 info at www.808news.com/56k/v92.htm - with updates when they occur. Latest update was today: Zoom announces they are shipping V.92 modems, and will not offer V.92 upgrades for any of their V.90 product. Aloha, |
AbRASiON Tl Posts: 5 Australia | Posted - 10/31/2000 8:56:16 PM That's a disgrace ... and I agree, many modem manufacturers will do this to milk the market. 3com is normally good though....? |
v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 11/4/2000 12:09:30 PM 3Com is no longer the owner of USR - it's now an independent company [again]. But, past and current marketing of the Courier modem surely implies it can do V.Everything and V.Anything - ie, V.92.... Aloha, |
