All,

Does anyone know where I can download a W2K driver for my Courier V.Everything 56K (V.90)? Oddly, 3Com tells you up front on their site that the generic Windows driver provides only limited support and yet they have not released a driver to support W2K. I had no trouble with the same hardware setup under NT4.

The Courier's driver is only .inf file definition for commands as the modem is full hardware-controller based. You can chose to install it as just about any 'standard modem' and it will work (although I would imagine that the pre-defined Windows2k list of modems includes some 3Com/USR Courier or V.Everything models); you can control modem's configuration via extra initialization string;

Aloha,
Richard
