I get illegal poceedure Windows 98 II ED will shut down
and stack dump. what gives? happens periodically.
USR 56K, and explorer 5.5. Pent II.
any help appreciated

I freq get illegal poceedure,will shut down, and stack dump in yada yada yada.what can I do. use EXPLORER 5.5 dwnlded HELP!

Check for updated drivers for all your system components;
Remove unneeded software;
If you continue to get problem, remove devices one by one until you isolate the cause;
or, re-install Windows.
