SARGE Tl Posts: 743 USA | Posted - 1/16/2001 7:52:26 PM I have no input since never had a Courier. However, if you have a noisy phone line, or are asking for someone else, get it fixed. There is no reason one has to put up with a "known" noisy line. I do know that USR's are better at compensating for sub-standard lines. |
romantik Tl Posts: 13 | Posted - 1/17/2001 7:21:04 AM There is a noise reduction add-on that USR offers. I am not sure what it is, but it might increase your connection speed. Also, check to see if your phone lines are even capable of achieving a 56k connection. Check the USR site to see how. |
lostconnection Tl Posts: 18 | Posted - 1/17/2001 9:20:35 AM My phone line is not 56k compatible. I live in a far away area that has more than one A/D converter. Will Courier work in this case? |
