| hondo Tl Posts: 1 | Posted - 2/26/2001 4:02:26 PM    I am running Win 98SE with a dial-up connection on a Dell Demensions XPS pIII 600 using a USR WinModem. I get a dial tone and I can connect to the internet. But once conected there appears to be transmission problem and the connection appears to stall and not be transmitting or receiving data for extended periods of time (30 secs -2 minutes) then transmissions re-start again. At no time am I losing the dial-up connection. Started to do this about 1 1/2 weeks ago and does this on multiple pages and when trying to retrieve email. I have 2 separeate phone lines and it does it on both lines.
