Iqqua Tl Posts: 7 Spain | Posted - 3/1/2001 10:30:50 AM Hello I use in Spain an USRobotics Courier V.Everything external, recently upgraded to x2 and V.90 aty11 OK I have tried several times, connecting with Hyperterminal, hanging after 15 or so seconds before issuing aty11. Also I have connected with the Win98 NAT, hanging after 15 seconds, launching Hyperterminal and issuing aty11, with the same results. Have you any idea about why don't work aty11 (or what I'm doing wrong)? I will be grateful if you can give me any advice. Regards |
Volor Tl Posts: 78 USA | Posted - 3/2/2001 1:29:25 AM The driver that Windows is using is causing the Modem to be reset after you disconnect. There are two things you can do. (1) Use the Courier V.90 .INF file included with the SDL instead of Windows's driver. (Note: The Windows Courier driver has a bug in it that sometimes reports the DTE rate on connections, so replacing the .INF wouldn't be a bad idea) (2) Enable the "Open Terminal Window After Dialing" feature of Dialup Networking, and after connecting to your ISP, type +++ and when the Modem responds with, "OK", you can use ATi6, ATi11, and ATY11 or any other AT command. |
