| IO ERROR Tl Posts: 9 | Posted - 3/29/2001 12:26:28 AM    I just flashed my USR 00568603 with the latest V.92 flash and I am wondering if the Quick Connect feature works in this code. Does it require you to be calling a V.92 server, or will a V.90 server do? If you can't guess, I haven't seen Quick Connect work yet, despite placing numerous test calls to various local and long distance numbers. -- |

| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 4/8/2001 10:46:47 AM Quick Connect requires you call a V.92 server and have a V.92 modem; at least parts of quick connect require that you have previously called (on last call?) the same server you are now connecting to, and that the routing/impairments encountered are similar (less likely to happen with toll calls).
