My guess would be that your modem was flashed with a non-USR flash which is why ati7 doesn't identify the modem's product ID anymore. Aloha, |
kwokhon Tl Posts: 5 Hong Kong | Posted - 4/10/2001 8:54:52 PM I checked my manual which is USRobotics and displayed the message after I typed the AT command at the terminal program: ATI0 which is product code as follows and which would not displayed at ATI7. And would it affect my modem as u replied ? ATZ |
v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 4/12/2001 9:03:13 AM 20.16mhz clock freq= VERY old Courier - 'original' Your modem was upgraded from (possibly V.32 to V.34) V.34 to x2 then x2 to V.90; I wouldn't be worried about anything; however, USR has indicated it will not make a V.92 upgrade for your modem - or even the later 25mhz-clocked v.Everything model.
