shiekh Tl Posts: 34 USA | Posted - 4/16/2001 2:44:07 PM If the DTE speed is only 112K as on many modems, what use is V.44 (6:1 compression)? Even with a DTE of 220K (rare) one can't really What am I missing? Did I just waste my money? |

You need to use SHSMOD driver from http://www.devdrv.com/shsmod SHSMOD is developed by Gigo. Which supports high speed serial communication with SMC, NS, Winbond, ALI MIO chip sets on Windows 95/98. The communication speed with SHSMOD will be 115,200bps or more. Alexey Stanovoy |
