| netguy Tl Posts: 1 | Posted - 4/27/2001 6:26:47 PM    I have a USR 56k fax modem (internal, ISA) product# 00568703. I am trying to get a better connect speed than 45k. I used to have an Eiger winmodem and I noticed it had an adjustment for line current. Is this only with winmodems? Anything else I could do on my modem to push it? I tried to force the speed with the &N and it wouldn't connect even one level faster. Thanks. Great site. |
