scootrskum Tl Posts: 2 | Posted - 6/8/2001 1:10:50 PM I am replacing my newly aquired "AMR modem" with my tried and true V-Everything. I have an AMD Amptron motherboard. Is there anything I should do other than removing the AMR modem in device manager and physically removing the internal modem? Any help would be appreciated! :) |

scootrskum Tl Posts: 2 | Posted - 6/11/2001 8:14:48 AM Thanks Guys, I removed the AMR modem , disabled a line in the BIOS settings referring to the AMR, removed what I could find in "add, remove programs" in Control Panel, and removed the settings in Device Manager as suggested. Now my USR stops responding like it is re-negotiating or something every few minutes. It didn't do that on my old computer so I'm thinking I have missed something. Any ideas? |
