| gokk Tl Posts: 1 | Posted - 6/10/2000 6:01:19 PM    This modem works fine connecting to my Earthlink ISP but I simply cannot get it to dial-up the network at my job. I am unsure of what type of modem is being used for incoming calls at work but the system is running under VAX/VMS (not sure if that limits modem choices). The modems will begin their analog handshake but halfway through, my PC freezes entirely (and I do mean entirely). I have to hard reboot to gain control. I'm at a loss to explain this mystery and would appreciate any help. |
