LONGSHOT Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 6/11/2000 7:23:21 PM I read the limit your connection speed page, but it doesnt have a listing to limit the upstream rate for the 3com/usr modems. I have a 56k VFM Pro Can this be done, and what is the string? I would like to set it to 21600bps. My phone line only gives me a decent connection up to 48000. When I had a LT winmodem, I set my rates to 48000 down and 21600 up and life was good. |

S33 V.34 & V.34+ Connection setup If you disable 3429 & 3200 symbol rates, upstream will be reduced; however, 3Com modems do not behave like Lucent modems and limiting upstream rate may not be necessary,.
