My Int 56k USB is useing COM2. Are there adjustment to COM2 that can be made? Is the modem itself COM2? or is the modem connected to COM2?

In system properties, COM1 has adjustments, but there is no listing for COM2.

Your modem likely is using virtual - not real - Com port created by modem driver; You may be able to adjust the port used by going to ControlPanel->System - devices / resources.
