dahill01 Tl Posts: 1 | Posted - 10/5/2001 8:06:00 AM Starting last night my modem (External USR 56k) started hanging up anytime I connected to my ISP and opened any application that caused a download. IE -> crash, Online Game -> crash, Ftp/telnet -> Crash. It just hangs up no matter what I do. This just started last night, and it isn't the isp because I have tested it out on another computer and it was working fine. Any idea what is going wrong? Dwayne |

In the Control Panel, double click Add/Remove Programs, select the Windows Setup tab, highlight Communications and click the Details button, Uncheck Dial-Up Networking and click OK. Reboot. Then go back and re-check Dial-Up Networking, click OK and reboot again. Then try a connection. |
