Hi,

I have a problem with my modem..It does not get disconnected when I disconnect.I have to shut down my system to disconnect the modem. I checked on FAQs regarding this and looks like there is a solution for Win 95/98. What about Win NT 2000 professional ? I dont see the task rnapp on teh task manager.

Your help in resolving this issue will be highly appreciated.

Modem holding the line open before connecting?

Any problem with connecting with the modem, get a NO DIALTONE?

Might post a modem log.

Either you've got a corrupted Dial-Up Networking file or the modem is damaged. If possible try a different modem in your computer or try your modem in a different computer to see if it still has problems.
