Bob Starnes Tl Posts: 4360 USA | Posted - 10/16/2001 11:15:38 AM "The line was busy" means that you number you called was busy. Do you hear the busy signal? Checked to be sure you're dialing the right number? |
rior Tl Posts: 3 Spain | Posted - 10/21/2001 11:59:31 PM I,m dialing to right number, but allways line is busy, even several ISP's numbers, but I can't hear the busy signal. But if I dial to the same number with a telephone it's not busy. It's unusuall.

v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 10/22/2001 10:10:35 AM You are in Spain? Have you selected Spain as the country you are calling from? Connectoid settings can cause phone # that is actually dialed to be different from the phone # you have put in; see www.modemsite.com/56k/connectoid.htm Try calling the ISP via Hyperterminal - does it work? Aloha, |
rior Tl Posts: 3 Spain | Posted - 10/22/2001 11:45:32 PM Thanks; Richard Yes, I have selected Spain, and de connectoid settings are the same when it worked fine. When I dial to my ISP with Hyperterm.. the answer is "BUSY" |
Bob Starnes Tl Posts: 4360 USA | Posted - 10/23/2001 12:25:11 PM Use E1 (E one) in the Extra Settings, try a connection and then post the modem log of the attempt. |
