CHAD_38 Tl Posts: 17 | Posted - 10/22/2001 11:05:37 PM figured i would start a new post on the same subject cause of the length well here i go.. i got the drivers for my modem and i uninstalled the modem then clicked on the run browse just like u said (click on setup .exe it loads and then looks to be transfering the files around,and then a lil sceen pops up saying setup caused an error in SETUP .EXE setup will now close restart your pc)but after the reboot i tried again and got the same exact thing:(so any tips there? and yes the modem was fully uninstalled under the device manager.

Bob Starnes Tl Posts: 4360 USA | Posted - 10/23/2001 12:29:02 PM Reboot the computer, click Ctrl-Alt-Del and 'End Task' on everything except Explorer and Systray. Then try the setup.exe from the modem drivers directory. |
CHAD_38 Tl Posts: 17 | Posted - 10/23/2001 1:23:58 PM ok when i got the drivers i put them on a floopy then from the floopy i made a folder called (drivers c)and left the files in there should i delete that file and try it from the floopy? sry for the caps on last post wasnt paying attention. |
