When attempting to connect with a Dell Latitude w/ PCTEL 2304wt v.92 MDC, I get 3 seconds into the handshake and it hangs.

50% of the time after an unsuccessful connect both 3686d modems will knock off of Auto Answer mode.

I have upgrade the drivers on the Dell and the drivers for the 3686d (as of 10-29-01)
