| gab Tl Posts: 1 Argentina | Posted - 10/31/2001 4:38:24 AM    I use many USR Faxmodem 56K V90 modems to receive calls using a modem pool. Two of them are blocked when I call them because the line stays always busy (if I connect the same line to another USR modem it answers perfectly). It seems like the modem's line port is open... Hope I am clear enough... Please I need help asap! :( |
| Bob Starnes Tl Posts: 4360 USA | Posted - 10/31/2001 9:46:51 PM The line side of the modems were most likely damaged by a phone line surge. Either send them back to USR for repair or replace them. |
