Hey all,

I have a dilema...I am unable to connect to my ISP at speeds above 26.4 with my USR modem. Chipset shows it is a USR modem I am running Win98, have updated the latest winmodem drivers from the 3com site. I've configured my DUN settings as well. I did contact my ISP to verify they are running v90 on their servers. Is there any other configurations I might try. The computer is on its own phone line, with no other peripheals atached. I've even swapped out analog lines (from the back of the computer to wall jack) to be sure there is no issue with them. <sigh>
Any other ideas or perhaps some other insight? This is what I get for being a Unix puke all these years!

Thanks much!

Test your PC at the home of a friend who gets good 56K connections, that is, on known good telephone lines.
