| Mike1106 Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 11/6/2001 6:00:38 PM    Hi; I spent about two days trying to install an HCF Conexant. I put that back in its box and now I am trying to install a 3COM 3CP3298. When in control panel (Modems Icon) it does not find the modem. I click Next and "Have Disk" but there are no modems listed in the pop-up window. I have the correct driver (Hawk.exe) from Dell and extracted the files. When I click "Add New Hardware" in Control Panel and let the computer find the device, it tells me that the PCI Serial Controller does not have a driver. I appreciate any guidance or tips from anyone. TIA |
