I am unable to make connection between a USR 56K (005686-03) modem with a USR 33.6, 28.8 and 14.4 speedster modems. The modem will negotiate but never make connection.

Any information you can provide will greatly be appreciated

Try disabling X2 and V.90, use S32=98 in the Extra Settings accessed through the ISP's DUN connectoid, Configure button.
