I just flashed my Performance Pro modem to v92 and I noticed some changes. Packet loss almost doubled but the connection is very stable. I have tried S15=2 S27=16 S32=34 but those commands only help a bit. Any ideas on how to lower the crazy packet loss? Maybe disable v92? |

OH yeah, in the ati6 diagnostics, V42bis compression is 0/0, could that be it? |

Post a modem log and the ati6i11 results taken after disconnecting from at least a 30 minute connection of normal browsing and downloading.

> Data Compression V42BIS 0/0Not sure why the Data Compression is showing as 0/0 unless this data isn't being displayed correctly in an offline state, might get the Link Diagnostics in an online session in Hyperterminal to see if it's reported. See http://modemsite.com/56k/cat5.htm And http://modemsite.com/56k/demarc.htm Might try limiting the connect speed to 46666, see if that drops the number of Blocks resent, Blers, and Link NAKS down. Use &U6&N31 in the Extra Settings.

Thanks a lot! I'm going to lower the speed. I still to need to find out why compression isn't working correctly, could this be a flaw in the v92 flash that is affecting everyone's bandwith after upgrading to v92? hmrmrmrmrmrm.... |

I tried capping my speed to 45333, and it helped just a little bit. All of the previous problems are still present. |
