cartemp Tl Posts: 1 | Posted - 6/28/2000 7:11:43 AM I have been successfully connecting @50k for last year or so. My ISP has decided to conform to BT (UK telco) 'surftime' (new unmetered service) standards, therfore new modem hardware has been installed resulting in connect speeds of 44k (never lower, never higher). I rang ISP and he confirmed BT involvement, I have a second ISP (registered yesterday) who also adheres to 'Surftime' standards and surprise surprise 44K also. Appreciate some comment on this if anyone has similar experience. |
