USR, which was an independent company before 3Com purchased them, became an independent company again; So, 3Com has PC-Card modem/lan adapter; so does USR; The "new technology" in the beta program is 'old' V.92/V.44 as far as I can tell. So far, USR hasn't done anything I know of to support V.44.... Aloha! Richard. |
