I have a question that needs resolve.

I have a old Courier I-modem that's lying around that I would like to use on a normal 2 wire phone line. Can this be done?

I know it can take analogue information, but that is through the ISDN connection on the back which is 8 wire.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you.

Good question - I'm not sure of the answer - have you tried posting the question at news://comp.dcom.modems ?

That you cannot do. Courier I-modem doesn't work on analog 2-wire line. You can connect I-modem to ISDN and then connect any analog modem to analog jack in Courier I-modem. But you need ISDN necessarily.
