Lester Tl Posts: 2 Canada | Posted - 2/24/2002 12:15:27 PM USR 56k FAXPCI is connecting to TD Bank using TD Business Windows, 16bits application on NT4 sp6. It's feature AutoDial works only once or twice after modem driver is changed. I am getting RESET ERROR. The modem driver can be done inside the application or in Windows. Option Dial Now works always. Thx. Lester |

I would check the init strings being used by the comm app. I doubt anyone here is familiar with the app you are using, so you might need help from the software vendor - or a combination of help from them and us. Aloha! Richard. |
charles Tl Posts: 5879 USA | Posted - 2/25/2002 9:01:17 AM Might try this In Dial Up Networking, Click "Connections" and then "settings". Check the Redial box. Under this change "Before giving up retry" to 50 times. Press "OK". |
Lester Tl Posts: 2 Canada | Posted - 2/25/2002 11:16:09 AM Thank you for your time, I appreciate that. Maybe next time I will help others. the MODEM RESET ERROR appeared in the bank application, only when the AutoDial set for Daily connection at desired hour. If the Dial Now button is pressed it works OK. I tried vendor but it is wasting time. I had access to the app less then one hour and I knew more then the support people. If Generic driver is in use I am tried two different strings: Q0V1 or &FS32=32. The AT on front. If one of the USRobotics drivers were choosing the initialization was set automatically to &FX4&C1&D2&A3&B1&H1&K2&M4&R2&SO without any possibility to change. The Dial Up Networking option is not available, it doesn't exist in this NT4 settings. This is company PC. Thx Lester. |
