Clueless Tl Posts: 12 USA | Posted - 3/15/2002 11:48:43 AM I installed Internet Call Notification a day or two ago, and now my Netscape 4.78 doesn't work. When I click on the URL for the Forum 56 site, Netscape give me an error message saying that there was no repsonse from the server and that the server could be down. But I know the server is working, because I when I enter the same URL in IE5 the page downloads just fine. So I want to test to see if the ICN program is somehow disabling my Netscape program. ICN loads automatically when I boot up my system. So how can I disable it, so it won't load when I reboot? Or would it be better to use the Windows Control Panel to remove ICN entirely? |
Troubled_user Tl Posts: 263 USA | Posted - 3/15/2002 2:56:31 PM Just like control center, ICN is a horrible piece of crap that USR rolled out in a hurry. Just uninstall it.' p.s. IF you do have Call waiting and want to use the Disconnect on call waiting feature, just put +PCW=2 into additional settings. |
