schweb Tl Posts: 7 USA | Posted - 9/25/2002 4:19:18 PM I have the Performance Pro 5610B modem and am wondering if I am really connecting at v.92 and I'm having a hard time figuring out if I am. Here are the diagnostics I ran so if anyone can decipher them, I'd appreciate it!!!

v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 9/25/2002 6:47:18 PM No, you are not - depending upon what you define as 'V.92': Modulation V.90/V.34 The USR modulation report is downstream/upstream and is reported at V.90/V.34. Your upstream rate is pretty miserable at 19.2k- The V.92 report for upstream would occur only if you negotiate PCM upstream; you could be connecting 'V.92' for modem-on-hold purposes or quick-connect without a V.92 report in these screens - you'd have to have call waiting and see if MoH works to check that.
