I am having trouble identifying a 3Com/USR modem that came with a recycled machine that I am rebuilding. The only marking on the circuit board that appears to relate to identifying the product is "Model 0642". [There is an FCC identifier if that is any help, but I didn't capture it.] A search of both the 3Com and USR sites on "0642" came up empty.

Any clues that could be offered as to where to look next would be greatfully received.

Thanks very much.
