| mint567 Tl Posts: 87 USA | Posted - 4/9/2003 6:24:02 PM    I beleive the problem with the usr 5610 while playing games is it connects with v.92 and does not work properly. Constant lag in games. Wondering how to limit to v.90 +MS=V90 does not work. I tried +MS=V90,0 and it connected at 14.4.. I searched usr and it said to disable the quick connect etc. but it still does not change the problem. The reason I beleive it to be v.90 is it connects fine to other numbers and works fine in online games etc. But the other numbers do not ping near as well. thanks any other ideas? |
| charles Tl Posts: 5879 USA | Posted - 4/10/2003 8:29:38 AM USR advises owners of V.92 modems with connection difficulty to disable V.92 with the following commands Put +PIG=1 +PMH=1 +PQC=3 in extra setting,note the space between the commands. This modem will not support the +MS command.
