v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 7/19/2000 9:35:03 AM The 65,535 is not a valid # - it is the decimal value of 2 bytes (16bits) that are all 1's - or HEX(FF)= 65,535 Either the modem isn't reporting the value correctly, or the register is only valid during a connection: use HyperTerminal to dial in, use the +++ escape sequence to go to command mode while still on line, then examine the i11/echo loss values.
