Hi:

I'm new to the modem tweaking game so bear with me..

I'd like to use a Labtec Stereo 332 headset with mic to talk through my modem. The headset is connected to a SoundBlaster Live Value WMD board. Currently, the modem works fine for data/fax and the soundboard (and 332's) work good for games and IC.

I have tried various tweaks but have not been able to send/receive voice over the modem via the headset.

Given this configuration, is it possible to do this.

Dell Optiplex GX260
Win 2K Pro SP4
SoundBlaster Live Value WMD
Conexant V92 HSB PCI

Drivers are *not* the latest for sound board or modem.

Thank's in advance.

Have you check the properties settings under volume control.
Right click the spearker icon in the system tray, open volume controls, options, properties, under playback put a check in all boxes, under recording do the same, when you are done put it back to playback and close out.

Charles:

Been there and done that.

After actually reading the manual, it looks like a jumper must be run between the SoundBlaster Live TAD and the Conexant modem.

Has anyone done this?

Thank's in advance.
