Hello everyone.I was wondering if anyone knew a good modem that works in linux and windws that supports both call waiting and v.92.My isp is not v.92 and I want the callwiating till they get v.92.I already have a actiontec v.92 callwaiting pci modem but I am disappointed in it cuase there is no call wiating software for it plus even if my isp was v.92 the moh software does not work with windows xp and looks like they discontinued it and the rest of thier call wiating modems.I just want a modem that has callid software so that when I am online and when someone calls the caller id will display who is calling so I disconnect and answere the phone till my isp goes v.92.Any help appreciated.

What is the model # of the modem and drivers you have installed?

It was thier first internal v.92 pci callwiating modem.The model is PCIV9212-01CW.I have looked everywhere and seems like there has been several discussions about this modem.I seen there was 2 pages about this modem in the paid section and supposibly a moh for this modem cuase it use venus chipset.I think its a shame that you have to go to a 3rd party site like this one to get working software for a modem.But i do have to say its been a pretty good modem and even does connect at v.92,tried a freinds isp.But unless actiontec releases new drivers and working callwaiting and moh software here shortly im gonna trash it and get something different thats why I am asking.Oh yeah the driver almost forgot the driver version is 3.1.0.0 from actiontec.Got some drivers they didnt release on their site awhile back months and months ago.I emailed and commplianed.I cant even find the modem on their site anymore.Driver date is 2/11/2002.
