I have a set-up that a customer does not want to purchace high-speed internet to connect to a video system. Is there anyway to install modems on both systems and set them up for emulation to talk at TCP/IP so that we can use the program provided that will only connect with an IP address. Anyone have any insight on this?

Windows XP Pro (and 2k/NT) can be set up as a RAS (remote access server). With this set up on one machine, the other can dial in, and log in.

XP Pro - Remote Desktop -
Control Panel/System: Remote tab - must be set to allow computers to connect remotely.
Control Panel/Network Connections - New Connection Wizard - setup advanced connection;

Aloha! Richard.
