Hi, XP Home can't find my external 56K after a reboot or whenever I turn the system on. Usually I have to unplug it and plug it back in before XP will recognize it again. Then it works fine until I need to reboot or power up the next day. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Are you turning on the power to the modem before booting up?

That seems to have done the trick, thank you! Another difference between XP and 98 I've experienced.
