Grinder Tl Posts: 3 USA | Posted - 2/27/2004 2:56:55 PM Hi, I'm new to this site, I have downloaded some drivers needed for my 3Com US Robotics 56K PC w/ Ds Support Internal Modem. Q: What directory do I unzip them to? |
charles Tl Posts: 5879 USA | Posted - 2/28/2004 12:27:01 AM The best way would to put them in a folder on your desktop and unzip them there.Remove the modem drivers in the add/remove program,check the device manager for any modem listed remove. Restart windows and when new hardware is found on boot just point it to the drivers on the desktop. I also like to remove the dial up connectoid in the dial up folder and make a new one after the modem install. What OS and modem do you have. |
