The only problem is that I use the program to dial a number for me, and it can tell if its disconnected, engaged etc. etc. but I need the call operator to hear this too, and not though the modem speaker, because if someone picks up they need to speak. I trial this with a modem about a year ago, and it worked perfect. Ive gotten these modems in and now when I try and pick the phone up, then initate the dial the modem thinks the line is busy, and the phone goes dead. Basicly, as long as the modem is doing something on the line, the phone (plugged into the back of the modem) is dead. I have heard this is a feature so you dont accidently pick up the phone while youre on the net. Is it possible to turn this off? Any help on this would be awesome. Thanks |
