| Ringo Dingo Tl Posts: 1 New Zealand | Posted - 4/9/2004 8:00:05 AM    I recently bought this Intel 536EP V.92 modem and its speed is going at 49.2Kbps (i have no problem with that) the problem is when im downloading im only downloading at o.4k/sec to 1.7k/sec (no more than 2K/sec) also when i play counter strike or other online 3d games, it disconnects me so what do i do? plsss i really need help i gotta download heas of stuff cuz i recently upgraded my parts and formatted and need lots of updates. tnx |

What result do you get from at#ug after disconnecting and using Hyperterminal connected directly to modem COM port? www.modemsite.com/56k/x2-hyperterm.asp What throughput result/connect speeds do you get if you limit speed to V.34 with Aloha!
