I have a V-92 Moden. Divers are up to date- off the cd & i'm not aware/ unable to find a newer one. OS- is XP. MY IPS Support MOH.

I am able to put my Modem on hold and place a cal, but it is not able to re-connect before by my time is up, it tries too re-connect- keeps clicking and ends up disconnecting. Also when a call comes in , i try too accept it, but i'm not able too { there is no one there}, and when i try re-connect, it ends up disconnecting.

What kind of modem do you have?
Check ControlPanel->Modems -
how is it listed?

What version of Windows do you have?

What driver version does the modem have?
www.modemsite.com/56k/driver.asp

Is there a name to the modem-on-hold program/windows?

Aloha! Richard.

Also wondering iF the speed that i'm connected at would make a difference for it too end up disconnecting. I can't see that it would as i am able too put hte modem on hold too make a call with no problem at all.

I usually get connected at 28000.

thanks

It would seem that either there is a bug in your modem/driver, or an interoperability problem with the modem at the other end.

If you're able to try other V.92 ISPs, and/or take modem to another location that has 56k-compatible line, you could pinpoint which it might be....

Aloha! Richard.

When you say a bug in my drive?? do you mean i need too try another one? I wonder if the speed has anything too do with it?? As i am able too put it on hold too make a call but not able too re-connect.Seems weird

I;ve checked my system info, and it says there is not problem with the modem. Sorry i'm not that literate in some stuff, in what too check.

any direction??
