| blueshark Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 5/6/2004 11:03:43 AM    Hopefully this is an easy answer for a modem neophyte. I suspect it's more general than specific but I could be wrong. I'm using two modems to download data from a data logger. When using HyperTerminal I can hear the modems connect but it does not respond to my keystrokes. The setup works fine at other locations. Anybody have a clue as to what to look into. |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 5/10/2004 5:08:11 AM  First thing - make sure that your Hyperterminal settings are correct insofar as the data form (# of data bits, partity, etc.) and that the modem is connecting at the correct speed (which may or may not be relevant). What kind of modem? If the above doesn't help, post-call diagnostics might give you some kind of clue. Aloha! Richard. |
