My problems: It doesn't receive any Caller ID data (while I have the service from my telco, and at+vcid=1). If there's a second call and the Call Waiting tone comes up, my modem retrains/disconnects, even though it's a V.92 modem with a V.92 ISP. I've tried some things with Modem-On-Hold too using HyperTerminal, and this is what comes out: quote: After about 20 seconds, I reconnect using ATO, and the ISP modem just hangs up, while the time was 4 minutes (008)! Does anybody know what to do about these 3 problems? Edited by - Mippo on 5/20/2004 11:40:47 PM |

Mippo Tl Posts: 9 Netherlands | Posted - 5/20/2004 11:49:11 PM The country settings were already set correctly. I might test using other country codes, nothing to lose, right? Maybe the Modem-on-Hold problem has something to do with the fact that it uses encrypted authentication and i can't login before testing stuff? Other ISPs always keep me online, even though I haven't logged in yet. It's the only V.92 ISP I've got here though. But still, I don't think that explains my other problems... :( EDIT: I've tried Call Waiting with my internal Conexant SmartHSFi V.92 56k Speakerphone, which detects the tone perfectly. (Caller ID doesn't work, though.) I'm beginning to think that this Creative modem isn't fully compatible with Dutch networks... |
