Pantry IS Admin Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 5/17/2004 1:10:52 PM I have a rollout of the v.92 modems and they do not connect to our cisco router. If I use S32=98, I can authenticate to the router but I do not get an ip address. The error is tcp/ip cp 718. I called cisco and usr and no on can figure this thing out. :( Does anyone have any ideas or contacts using 5686d (-05) modems connecting to a cisco router? I appreciate ANY help at this point!! Thanks all. |

Pantry IS Admin Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 5/21/2004 2:50:02 AM No, I have not used any other modems and I have used the string you suggested. I have found out in the mean time, using S32=98 and disabling LCP in the configuration option of PPP for a W2k/XP client under the DUNS settings. I have many W95 clients and I'm testing the S32 register to see what happens. Overworked Admin |
