Hello there,
I have been writing batch files for automating my rockwell 56k external modem to dial lengthy overseas phone numbers
for me rather than dial them myself, and my batches, or command line instructions work fine under 98, but not on XP.

example:
@echo off
echo Dialing Overseas 1
@echo ATDT 1100,999996666655555 > com2
Echo.
Echo Press any key when You answer or you want to hang up.
pause
echo ATH &gtcom2

Have I missed some fundimental difference between 98 - XP ??
I am greatful for any help or suggestions
cheers
