meb99p Tl Posts: 2 USA | Posted - 6/27/2004 5:09:57 PM Problem: Whenever I connect to the internet (which I can quickly) I then have a 3-4 minute wait while virtually no bytes are received or sent. After that period, data starts to flow and pages load quickly. Why? I have a Zoom 2925L, which has a phone line in and one out. When I first disconnected my home phone from the modem the problem seemed solved. There was no waiting to get on line. Unfortunately, the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated... |

If Win9x - the logon to network can cause such a problem http://modemsite.com/56k/logon.asp http://modemsite.com/56k/connectoidedit9xs.asp If you have a network card in computer that isn't being used, disable it Aloha!
