v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 6/28/2004 6:34:01 PM Each client modem driver designs/defines what DIL sequence is to be sent. The client modem driver uses what it actually receives compared to what it knows the server modem sent to calculate what impairments are in the circuit. Because PCM modulation is downstream only (in V90) it's only necessary for the client to receive the digital sequence from the server modem. Regular V.34 training occurs for the upstream. Aloha!
