dej63 Tl Posts: 4 USA	Posted - 7/5/2004 9:58:13 AM I am trying to figure out how to use modem on hold. My ISP and Modem are V.92 V.44. I have been studying Modem Site to learn everything I can to make it work but can't find any information on my modem. I have a Conexant HSF V92 56K Data Fax PCI with RAS Async Adapter. The modem came with my Dell computer and all the software was set up when I purchased it. Where can I find information on the HSF? My system information report shows that the answer mode is not available. Do you know why or what that means to me?

charles Tl Posts: 5879 USA	Posted - 7/5/2004 10:47:00 AM answer mode This has nothing to do with the netwaiting. Setting used with modems to answer any incoming call. Generally this mode is set when a user wishes to receive a fax and/or use their computer as an answering machine.
